FAITH COMES THROUGH THE WORD

The Saturday and Sunday Live services on Emmanuel TV were as exciting to the viewers worldwide as they were for the congregation thronging the seats of The SCOAN Headquarters. Starting with a dynamic prayer line service, the five Wise Men went forth cloaked in the light of God’s purity and the fire of His Holiness to dispel every shade of darkness in the life of the congregation. Whether the darkness appeared in the form of sickness, disease, demonic oppression, poverty, setback, limitation and failure, when the light of God came on the scene, darkness had no hiding place. Just as it was during the earthly ministry of our Lord, Jesus Christ, everyone who received a touch from the Wise Men received a touch from Heaven with the anointing to break every yoke.

THE ROAD TO YOUR DIVINE DESTINY

Wise Man Harry preached an encouraging sermon titled: The Road To Your Divine Destiny In which he exhorted the listeners to look unto Jesus Christ in times of testing to see them through their dark moments into the bright futures set before them in Christ Jesus. He said, “The road to your divine destiny is not a bed of roses. There will be trials, temptations and challenges. Joseph believed his dream. To protect our dreams, we must stop the language or the vocabulary of the victim. Before Joseph got to the position of honour, he suffered humiliation, rejection, embarrassment, temptation, false accusation, and so on. For you to be in a position of honour, you must experience the same thing. On the road to your divine destiny, you need a vision to stay on the right track. As a man of vision, no matter what constitutes the obstacles on your way, you can never be stopped.”

FAITH COMES THROUGH THE WORD

Prophet T.B. Joshua enlightened the congregation and viewers on how they could ‘bring Jesus onto the scene’ in his message titled, ‘Faith Comes Through The Word’. Mark 16:17, “In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.” This Scripture is useless, baseless, until we act on it. Acting on the Word, brings Jesus on the scene. If you do not act on the Word, God is impotent in you. It is acting on the Word that builds faith in the believer. Jesus Christ preached the Word, healed the sick and broke the power of demons over men. Apostles preached the Word, the sick were healed and multitudes were recreated. To preach the Word means to preach Christ because Christ is the Word. John 15:16 “Whatever you ask the father in my name, I will do.” It’s not every time we say, in the name of Jesus we bring Jesus on the scene. Only faith pleases Jesus. Only faith brings Jesus on the scene. On the scene, means here, now. In our gathering here, if Jesus is involved, healing, deliverance takes place. By looking into the Word and acting on it, we bring Jesus on the scene.

Hundreds came forward eager to share the good news of what God Almighty had done in their lives through different mediums of the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua, including the Anointing Water, Anointing Sticker, Emmanuel TV and those who had received prayer and prophecy from the man of God and the wise men. Here are some of the highlights:

 

JOBLESS WOMAN GETS PRIVATE JET RIDE TO BIG TIME EMPLOYMENT IN ABU DHABI

A Cameroonian Health and Safety Officer in Dubai, Mrs Carine Virgine testified how distance was not a barrier to the real, authentic and forceful power of God. Despite all her qualifications, she was unable to secure employment. There were just four days left for her visa to expire and she would either be imprisoned or be forcefully repatriated to Nigeria according to the law in Dubai. She watched Emmanuel TV on the internet in Dubai and while praying with Prophet T.B. Joshua during the viewer’s prayer, she vomited out thick substances. A friend then came to visit her who had just left The SCOAN and gave her a bottle of the Anointing Water, telling her that if she believed, she would have her testimony within the next four days. She immediately ministered the Anointing Water.
The next day, a call came to her from a man who said her CV was before him and he had no questions for her other than if she was satisfied with the terms of the job she had applied for. He forwarded her CV to the Human Resources Department and she was invited for an interview. She was told to check her email box and discovered that a private jet was waiting to take her to Abu Dhabi, the Administrative Capital of the United Arab Emirates for the interview! She took the flight and committed the interview into the hands of God and the manager of the company even received her at the airport. To her further surprise, there was no interview at the end of the day. The interview was merely to show her round her new accommodation including a swimming pool, gym and restaurant on site! She is now appointed as the Health and Safety Officer of The Anatara Group Hotel Franchise, one of the biggest hotel chains in The Middle East. Her advice simply encouraged us all to truly believe in God and our prayers would be answered.

DEADLY FAMILY CURSE OF DIABETES SHATTERED THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

To some, diabetes has become a normal way of life. It is just something they have to put up with. But in the Ochiba family, diabetes was a silent killer. After two of Mr Ignatius Ochiba’s brothers had died of diabetes, his family was shaken at the stunning news that he had himself been diagnosed as a diabetic. Instantly, his health fell into decline, perpetuated by weakness, pain and fatigue in addition to sleeplessness and restlessness caused by the frequent urination accompanying the sickness. Previously, he urinated frequently both day and night as a result of the diabetes but since ministering the Anointing Water, he slept soundly without any disturbance or rushing to the bathroom. The family curse of diabetes which had claimed the lives of two of his brothers came to a sudden end as God Almighty used the Anointing Water to break every chain of sickness the devil had used to connect this family to himself. He advised all that they should not allow their situation to mislead them because man’s condition does not change God’s position.

This motorcycle dealer was down on his luck to say the least. His business was steadily going downhill until there was a terrorist attack in his state. After the bomb blast in his area, his shaky business became drastically worse. After going through the tension of securing a loan from his bank, putting up his house as collateral, he was further frustrated to the point where his loan even expired and his bank manager turned his back on him. After the loan expired, he still could not sell his products, occasionally selling a single bike in two weeks. He could not even pay his children’s school fees and his house was endangered for the now expired loans he had taken.  In the midst of his situation, a nephew encouraged him to come to The SCOAN to receive the Anointing Water. In faith, he came and received. He returned to his warehouse that was so full you could not even enter it and took photos as he knew his testimony was restored. In no time, a company he used to do business with bought all the motorcycles to the tune of 30,000,000 naira. He has settled the bank and has reclaimed his building – he is no longer a debtor and business is still going fine. He now has peace and can sleep well. His children who had to stop their education due to the problem the family was facing, are even schooling abroad now! Advising all and sundry, he said we should trust in the God of Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ for all we need to live for Him here and now.

DENNIS SAMUELS – DIRECTOR GENERAL FOR A COMPUTER COMPANY

From the time he became a partner of Emmanuel TV, he had been praying for the grace to be a committed one. He was among a few of the privileged who received an Emmanuel TV badge. A prayer partner was also assigned to him – one of the wise men. Each time he had an issue, the wise man would pray with him and counsel him over the phone. In January, 2012, his company received an invitation for a big exhibition in Burkina Faso. He managed to raise funds with his entire staff and set off for his j

ourney to the exhibition. When at the airport, his phone rang. It was his prayer partner, the wise man. He asked him where he was going and Mr Samuels explained that his company was elected to be a part of a big exhibition in Burkina Faso. The wise man counselled him and advised him to go ahead, that God would go with him. In accordance with the words of the wise man, Mr Samuels’ company was the star of the three day competition in Burkina Faso, as God favoured his company. Everything happened as the wise man had told him and he was given an award for ‘The Best Hope In Computer Security’. 

In a subsequent phone call from his prayer partner, the wise man, asked him, “When last did you check your blood pressure?” He said, “Please, can you go and check it and call me back”. Mr Samuels said that he went to the nearest clinic to test his BP. He was shocked when the doctor  who had asked him to wait came back with a perplexed look on his face asking Mr Samuels how he had come, that his BP was not only high but at the crisis level! The doctor advised him against driving and wanted to hospitalize him. Mr Samuels called his prayer partner who told him that that was the reason he had called him. His prayer partner then proceeded to pray with him and within a week Mr Samuels’ BP was back to normal.

He advised that to be a partner of Emmanuel TV was not about having a partnership number, “You need commitment. God is monitoring your activity. Be consistent and sincere in what you are doing. God is the rewarder of all things!”

 

MAN MADE A MILLIONNAIRE MOMENTS AFTER A MIRACLE

He and his wife were separated. He got a call from his mother that his wife was in The SCOAN. He laughed over it because he did not believe in The SCOAN. His wife called later saying she wanted to see him at the church. So he came. Wise Man Daniel touched him during the service and that was all he could remember of his deliverance. He used to go to a river to fetch water as a child. He went, caught a fish and went to eat it. That was the River Ethiope. He noticed a fair lady sitting at the riverbank that day. He noticed cowries on the riverbed where she was, bent and picked them up. A similar fair lady came in his dreams and demanded for her cowries back. He was a teenager then and in fear, he awoke, ran out of the house and threw them away. The spirit of the River Ethiope appeared to him the next day in a dream and said that she owned him. Since then, she came in his dreams and he started having serious wet dreams. He would see her physically and if she wanted to come, she came with a cold presence and no matter what he was doing, he would have to look up and they would make love. His parents started suspecting him of being possessed and once found him on the floor crying and shouting where nobody else was.

This spiritual wife affected his life by addicting him to chatting with girls on the internet and giving him the spirit of lust to womanize. His career and business were also destroyed by the malicious spirit. One such instance occurred when a lady came to his travelling business and paid 300,000 towards travelling to the United Kingdom. As the money entered his account, his business folded up over the following weeks. Each time he was about to get somewhere in a business, the spiritual wife would come into his dreams and tell him that that business was dead. Every time the spiritual wife killed a business, she would give another idea for businesses which would immediately catch on until the evil spirit again would crush the business.

The spiritual wife was extremely jealous of him and any woman who came near to him, would face immediately attacks. There was a terrible case where a girl who stayed with him during his school times, started bleeding in her brain which stopped immediately she moved out from the same house as him. The spiritual wife then led to separation from his wife.

So, when he came to The SCOAN and was delivered through Wise Man Daniel, life changed entirely. The affection for his wife was fully restored and he had peace as the spiritual wife and wet dreams then became a thing of the past. While he was still at The SCOAN for a week, he got a call that he should come back to his state for an urgent parcel. The man of God said he should attend to it and when he did, he found that it was a document which he had not applied for but offering him a contract with AGIP oil company to the tune of $200,000 which was an equivalent of 38,000,000 naira. That was not the only breakthrough he received. He was also able to join partners to his company who landed a massive project for the three of them to supply over 100 million units of their oil product of which the proceeds would be shared between the three of them at the rate of 1 naira per unit! His advice was to encourage parents to be conscious of their little children and not to allow them to pick things up off the floor and that people should not wait for their case to get as bad as his, come to a living Church where the Holy Ghost was in control, Jesus Christ is waiting to receive them.

The man of God replayed a video of a prophecy he had given to a woman the previous week where he asked her who Lawson was. The prophecy had revealed that she went to Europe where she did prostitution. After showing the video, the woman who was present in the service said that the man the prophecy concerned, Lawson, was introduced to her by her sister. He had promised to take her to Europe to work in a bar and wash plates. So, they went to a herbalist to make a covenant by taking hair from her private parts, armpits and blood from her forehead that she would have to pay him 50,000 euro after she started working in Europe, to which she agreed. The man then slept with her before taking her to the airport to travel. When she got to Europe, she was surprised that the man gave her some sexy clothes and told her to work on the street as a prostitute. She was taken by 6 men on the first night and from there, slept with between 40 and 50 men every day over the next two years before she finally paid the money. She fell mysteriously sick and the hospital told her that her kidney was damaged and needed to be removed before it affected the other kidney and could become fatal. She had to undergo surgery and was left with only one kidney. She was repatriated to Nigeria when she cried out to her embassy and returned to Nigeria with nothing. She came to The SCOAN and received the word of prophecy that delivered her from this past life of pain and disgrace. She started by asking for forgiveness from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, stating she had blasphemed and said so many bad things, spreading rumours against T.B. Joshua and his ministry with the intention of destroying him and his ministry. “Every evil thing you could think of, I said it against him” she said.When she was young, she craved power. A spirit entered her and she saw herself always on top. When she went to university, she joined a female cult where she became the ‘number one’ in that cult. She took girls on the campus for initiation. She used to take the girls to a forest under the pretense that they were going to a party. She had a hundred powers she collected from a witch doctor and said “The more you looked at me, the less you would see me”. Once she raised her hand and said something, people would abide by whatever she said. She would consult a herbalist who would clear the coast for her any time her cult planned to do an initiation in the forest. The code was that they would wear a black bra. They would tie their eyes and she would bring the prepared concoction. She would bring out a razor and force the girls to take an oath during the initiation to take their blood. She would put the blood in the concoction and tell them to drink it which would make them high. After the initiation, the power would tell them the evil things they should do.

She said the day she started spreading a film blaspheming T.B. Joshua, that was the day things turned against her. She left school and got married but the curse on her life remained. A friend told her about the testimonies on Emmanuel TV. She went home and had a dream about T.B. Joshua, in which the man of God told her she should ask God for forgiveness, that she had sinned against the Holy Ghost. She began watching Emmanuel TV after which she came to The SCOAN and received her deliverance through Wise Man John Chi. She said she encountered Jesus that day through the prayer of Wise Man John Chi. She stated there was no gain in joining secret cults.

MTN PROJECT FAME STAR DELIVERED AT THE SCOAN

Denise, a 28 years old who was brought up in the USA said she never knew that the devil had so much control over her life until she was set free at The SCOAN.

Her mother was a drug addict – at two months old, her mother gave her to her aunt in America who was unable to have children at the time. When her aunt had her own biological child, then she started maltreating her. The authorities heard of it and locked up her aunt. Later, her aunt decided to send her back to her mother but at this time, Denise did not know that the woman she had grown up with was her aunt and not her mother. She was deceived that she was going to Chicago to stay with her favourite uncle but found herself in Freetown, Sierra Leone. After this, she was to board a flight to Liberia, unbeknown to her, to meet with her mother for the first time. When she was about to arrive, they said there was a war on in Liberia and they could not enter the country at that time. Then she was taken care of by the flight hostesses until there was a ceasefire and they could enter.

Another lady saw her when she was crying in the airplane and started talking to her about Liberia where she was going. As soon as they got to Liberia, the war started again. Denise’s only clue as to where she was going was to find a lady called Gloria who she was going to be staying with. When she found Gloria, she said, she was told to take Denise to her biological mother. She had not been able to find her because the mother was always taking drugs and high. When they finally found her mother, the mother was dirty, smelly and carrying a newborn child. For a while however, she enjoyed the motherly love she had never had for the next three days. On the third day, her mother told her that she had to grow up now; this was not America. Her mother then started using her to get money by leaving her with men and it was just the grace of God she said that none of them ever raped her as the deal had been between them and her mother.

To escape from her mother, she found a rich boyfriend who was into and introduced her to drugs, smoking and drinking. But when the war restarted again, the man gave her money and fled. So, she also tried to flee and got to Ghana. In Ghana, she was wasting her money on her drug habit and when she got high on drugs, she would start singing. A day came when she tried singing at a Karaoke Bar, and the owner liked her voice so much, they employed her to be singing there. That was her first job. So, she started building up a new life again. She auditioned for MTN Project Fame and got to seventh place, whereas there were only five winners. The Project Fame organization did however give her a $2,000 prize with which she got her first apartment for two years. So, she realized that competitions were the only way she would be able to make clean money without sleeping with people. There were several older men who offered her help for sex which although she didn’t want to, she had no option as her money was all gone. After sleeping with such men, not one of them could fulfil their promise.

She got seriously sick and then, became suicidal. She tried to kill herself three times but someone would always come in and save her at the last minute. One of her friends said he would take her to The SCOAN and as she was wondering if it was another spiritualist or ‘juju man’, he said, ‘‘No, I am taking you to God.’’ She said, “Okay, if it is not God, after this, I am leaving this earth because I am tired”.

The road was rough and the devil really opposed her coming to The SCOAN, even making her to fight the man that tried bringing her to the church but in the end, she got to The SCOAN and received the deliverance she had never even dreamed of. Now, she is happy, delivered and free from all her addictions. She wants to give her life to Christ and asked Prophet T.B. Joshua for advice and instruction for her future.

ALL NATIONS PRAY

The Saturday and Sunday services at The SCOAN , February 9-10, 2013, were attended by people with a passion for the presence of God from all over the world. The services were marked by the astounding healings and hard-hitting deliverances in Jesus’ name, sounding a strong spiritual wake up call to an unbelieving generation wallowing in the gloom of their circumstances and adding to the continual joy of those being saved. The Sunday programme anchored on prophecies to individuals as revealed by Prophet T.B. Joshua and the laying on of hands by the Wise Men, punctuated by glorious testimonies given by diverse people to attest to the touch of God in their lives.

During the Sunday service, Prophet T.B. Joshua addressed issues peculiar to different countries and people the world over, with many lessons of life to be gleaned from the experiences of individuals concerned and for the sharpening of the like precious faith. He had, in last weeks’ service, asked the congregants to bring to church small flags of their countries for special prayers. They had obeyed and his prayer centred specifically on the socio-political and economic travails in many countries of the world in contemporary times.

Prophet Joshua said that he carried, “the flags of all nations in my heart.” He said Emmanuel TV would rebroadcast the prayer so that people could connect to it and join him to pray for their own land and people. The flags are a symbol and for contact to the nations worldwide and that the congregation should return their flags to their personal altars hereafter for continued supplication.

The man of God mentioned some of the well known ills of society such as injustice, robbery, occultism, corruption, exploitation, child kidnapping and murder, shedding innocent blood, tribal conflicts and political misrule and mismanagement to clearly illustrate the reasons why there was need for prayer for the nations.

Using Jeremiah 1:10 as a proof text, he said representatives of each country had a duty to look up to God for solutions to their particular travails. He asked the believers and viewers all over the world a soul-searching question, “Everybody wants prosperity but how many are ready to do the work of prosperity?” adding that people needed to be honest and sincere in all they do in order to achieve God’s kind of success. His prayers for the nations took the form of a kind of confession. He asked the worshippers worldwide to take the points raised, one by one which were applicable to their nation and seek the Lord Jesus in broken-heartedness. “We are here today to confess all the sins and wrongs of the lands of our ancestors, leaders and the people. We plead for forgiveness and mercy in the name of Jesus.” The prophet prayed that the Lord should save the nations from destruction and judgement. He also prayed, “Lord Jesus, redeem our nations, lands, continents and countries of all the sins we confess and the ones we have not mentioned” – a reference to the body of evils and immoral conducts which he had already listed.

Prophet Joshua also prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ in humility and faith, declaring “I command all the forces of darkness hindering the move of God in our lands, be cast out, in Jesus’ name. We ask for Your deliverance and healing power on our countries.”

A summary of the spectacular testimonies given to glorify the Lord Jesus and admonish believers all over the world to remain steadfast to the hope they had been entrusted with, are as follows:

Mr Paul worked in an oil and gas industry. One day, an accident occurred and his leg was burnt with fire. They rushed him to the hospital and the doctors said they needed to amputate his leg. He explained the situation to his friend who came to the hospital with Anointing Water he had received from The SCOAN. After ministering the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name, his leg started to itch. Suddenly, two live maggots came out of his leg. He discovered that as the maggots left, the pain also stopped. The fire burns quickly began to heal and the doctor confirmed that he no longer needed an amputation. To God be the glory – He is the Repairer and Restorer!

Mr Moses, aged 27, came to The SCOAN in need of deliverance from a life of smoking, drinking and patronizing prostitutes. He had begun smoking at the young age of 7 years old. This had caused him severe chest pain and nightmares in which people came to beat him in his dreams. One day, a friend came to him with the Anointing Water, advising that he needed a change in his life. He encouraged Mr Moses by telling him that if he put his trust in Jesus Christ, God would wash away his sins and wipe the stain of guilt away from his life. With this belief in his heart, he prayed and ministered the Anointing Water, in Jesus’ name. After prayer, he slept. The next morning, he reached for his morning cigarette. To his surprise, the smell of the cigarette irritated him. He tried smoking but could not. It has now been over three months and he has not once smoked, had a drink of any alcohol or visited prostitutes. He gives glory to God and encourages the youth that no matter the lifestyle they have engaged in, Jesus Christ can set them free!

Mr Amos Augustine shared a fantastic testimony of how our God, Jesus Christ rescues, saves and delivers. He said that he always ministered the Anointing Water before going to work and carried the Anointing Water with him wherever he went. One morning, he was attacked by armed robbers. They were threatening his life and property. As the armed robbers collected his wallet, they began shouting that the wallet was burning their hands and threw the wallet back at him demanding that he should open the wallet! Mr Augustine then opened the wallet to see what had caused the fire burns and the Anointing Sticker fell out! Shocked, the armed robbers started shouting and ran off. Truly, God can use any medium to rescue His children!

Mr Peter, a soldier serving his country, Nigeria told his wonderful testimony of how Jesus Christ had healed him through the Anointing Water from a terrible liver problem. He was in terrible pain and discomfort as he had been diagnosed with liver enlargement which caused a swollen stomach. The problem was so severe that he was booked for an operation. Believing for a miracle, he received the Anointing Water and ministered it, in Jesus’ name. The next day, he began vomiting and black substances came out of his system. To his surprise, his stomach became normal! He went back to the doctor and was confirmed to be perfectly healthy. There was no trace of an enlarged liver. The astonished doctor asked him, “Which medication did you use?” Replying with a smile, Mr Peter responded that it was God’s doing through the Anointing Water. Glory to God! Speaking to the congregation, he said, “God has given me another opportunity. He has given me another chance. Doctors can treat; only Jesus can heal.”

In his own words, Mr Zira Yohana, an agent in the petroleum industry, was a “professional drunkard”. He said he could drink between five to six cartons of alcohol a day. For 17 years, he was inflicted with the severe problem of intoxication and lamented how he used to beat his wife after drinking alcohol. He also said that nobody could ‘out drink’ him when it came to alcohol. One day, he told his friend about his bad habit and his friend gave him the Anointing Water. After ministering the Anointing Water, the urge to drink alcohol left him completely. His life has been radically transformed and he is now an example to all. He advised everyone to seek forgiveness from God in order to stop their bad habits.

Mr Samson from Cameroon ran an organization that cared for widows and orphans. They occupied a building where their charitable activities were held. One day, they were reported to the authorities by a group of people who claimed they were inhabiting the building illegally. As a result of this report, everyone in the organization was arrested and put in prison. He appealed the court’s decision many times but his attempts to gain his freedom were to no avail. He knew that he had been imprisoned innocently. In prison, he had the opportunity to view Emmanuel TV. He began to watch it regularly and prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. He repeated the prayer point of the man of God who stated that all who were imprisoned by contrary forces should be released, in Jesus’ name. Believing that his prayer had been answered, he sent another appeal to the magistrate for release. Three days later, the magistrate called him and gave him a letter of release! He says that if he had not been watching Emmanuel TV and joining the anointed prayer with Prophet T.B. Joshua, he would still be in prison today. He advised all who found themselves in desperate situations to look to Jesus Christ for their freedom and vindication. He is the freedom provider!

Mr Nnadozie was a chain smoker for 16 years. This caused him serious chest pain, heart burn and cough. He spent a fortune on cigarettes as he smoked 5 packs a day. He would go to church with cigarettes and excuse himself during the service to smoke. He would even go to the restroom with cigarettes! The day he resolved to give up, the urge actually increased and he smoked 10 packs! The problem became worse. When he came to The SCOAN, he was also carrying a packet of cigarettes with him. For some reason, however, he did not feel the urge to smoke throughout the entire service. He received the Anointing Water and ministered it, in Jesus’ name after the service. A moment later, he tried to light a cigarette but felt like acid was running down his throat. He started to vomit black substances and from that moment on, the urge to smoke disappeared! Thanking God for the wonderful miracle, he said that even the smell of smoke irritates him now. Surely there is nothing Jesus cannot do.

Pastor and Mrs Patrick shared their incredible testimony. Mrs Patricia Patrick had suffered not one but two ectopic pregnancies that had been very traumatic for her. In the course of this problem, she underwent an operation and both of her fallopian tubes were removed, making it medically impossible for her to conceive.  Still believing that God would show Himself strong in her seemingly hopeless situation, Pastor Patrick came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. She prayed together with her husband, ministered the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name and the mother of miracles happened! After prayer, they met as husband and wife and Mrs Patrick became pregnant! They went to the hospital for a checkup and the doctors were amazed to find that both of the fallopian tubes had been totally restored!  Full of joy, Mrs Patrick told the viewers and congregation, “My advice to women who might have lost hope: The same God who restored my two tubes which were cut off, shall surely visit you, in Jesus’ name”.

Mr Joseph Genesis shared his testimony of God’s supernatural protection through the medium of the Anointing Water. He suddenly found himself caught in a surprise attack from armed robbers. Seven armed men descended on him and pulled out guns to kill him, not knowing that he was armed with a superior weapon! That morning, he had ministered the Anointing Water on his body before leaving his house. He stated that the power of God in the Anointing Water created a protective shield over him and due to the Anointing Water, the bullets that were fired on him could not enter him! The armed robbers could not believe their eyes. Filled with courage at the supernatural protection, Mr Joseph began to spray the Anointing Water towards the armed robbers and they ran away in defeat. Proudly showing himself to the world that he had escaped without a scratch, Mr Joseph said, “The Anointing Water is a bullet to the wicked, evil spirits!”

Chief Superintendant of Police John Mark, a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Anambra, Nigeria came out to testify how God had touched the lives of police men in his division after he shared with them the Anointing Water he had received at The SCOAN. Two of his police officers accompanied him to The SCOAN to share their testimonies. Mr Sunday Idris, a policemen under CSP John Mark, had suffered from the embarrassing affliction of bedwetting for two years. When he received the Anointing Water, he prayed, believing that God would put an end to his suffering. After that prayer, he testified that that chain of affliction had been broken and bedwetting was a thing of the past in his life! Mr Phillip then came forward with his wife and twins, Emmanuel and Emmanuela to thank God for the miraculous release of their son Emmanuel after he was kidnapped. Armed robbers took the child and later called, demanding a ransom of N20million, an impossible amount of money for Mr Phillip to raise. The father ran straight to his DPO, John Mark. In response to the devastating news, Mr Mark gave him the Anointing Water and told him to minister it in faith, in Jesus’ name. One day after he ministered the Anointing Water in prayer, local police were given a tip off to the robber’s location. Emmanuel was recovered uninjured that very day and returned to his parents! A national Nigerian newspaper covered the story of the robber’s capture, terming Emmanuel’s release as ‘miraculous’!

Mrs Ogwe Juliet, a Nigerian living in Cameroon told the world of her amazing testimony of how the Anointing Water had saved her from an armed robbery operation while onboard a ship from Cameroon to Nigeria. When the ship alarm was raised, alerting that thieves were in their midst, Mrs Juliet quickly remembered the Anointing Water and sprayed it over herself, in Jesus’ name. The ship was in a state of confusion as the thieves were robbing everyone in the ship. Amazingly, Mrs Ogwe Juliet was left in peace as the armed robbers seemed not to even notice her. A man who was also present on the ship took his money out of his pockets and placed it on top of one of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s sermons which he had received from The SCOAN. He offered it to the armed robbers, saying, “Here is my money; take it” but the armed robbers refused to take his money! Speaking to the congregation and viewers, Mrs Ogwe Juliet said, “Don’t call it ordinary water; it is anointed. There is power in it – the power of God. The power of God is above all powers”.

Mr Azawei Alanuene, a university lecturer, gave his testimony of how God had taken him from a nobody to somebody. Eating from hand to mouth for 10 years, his life was a constant struggle but when he ministered the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name, his destiny turned around! After prayer, he was suddenly called by his supervisor and told that he had been granted a scholarship to further his research by studying a PhD in The University of Nottingham, UK. He travelled to the UK for the course, continued ministering the Anointing Water over himself and his coursework and conducted ground breaking research in his specialized area. To his surprise, he was selected to present the findings of his PhD research in an international conference in China.  Glory be to God!

Mr Waziri from Taraba, Nigeria was addicted to drinking alcohol for 17 years and could drink up to 14 bottles a day. He did not see the need or have the desire to stop but one day after watching Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV prophesying to a man about the very same drinking problem, he realized his need for freedom.  As Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for the viewers, he stretched his hand and touched the screen in prayer. Instantly, the desire to drink left him and he was completely delivered in the power of the Holy Spirit. After that prayer, everything about his life was transformed. His health, business, marriage and joy were restored! Even his appearance changed as his once large belly, due to excessive drinking, shrunk back to normal. Advising those who are desperately in need of a solution, he quoted the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua, saying, “If you have run out of rope, it is time to grab onto faith!”  Hallelujah! There is no bad habit, addiction or negative lifestyle that cannot be broken, conquered and defeated by Jesus Christ!

All in all, we are reminded that the main thing about Christianity is not the work we do for God but the relationship we maintain and the atmosphere produced by that relationship. Our work for God is a reflection of our relationship with Him. We should therefore, take time to develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit by daily reading our Bibles with devotion and making the Word of God the standard for our lives.

Who Is This Man TB Joshua..

“The most surprising part of TB Joshua is that his life had been prophesied by another great man of God…” 

When the Africa heard of Malawi’s president cardiac arrest , and his death a day later, one word came haunting, TB Joshua. Less than two months ago, the Nigerian prophet told his congregation that God had showed him the death of an old African president. Since he had already built a reputation by accurately prophesying the death of pop icon Michael Jackson, the world did not take those words lightly. Immediately, social networking sites were on fire as to who, TB Joshua was referring to. High on the list of possible candidates was, Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe, Kenya’s Mwai Kibaki, Malawi’s Bingu wa Mutharika and Senegal’s Abdoulaye Wade, who has since lost the election. This was going by the words of TB Joshua that the president is old.

This weekend, just one week before the death of Bingu wa Mutharika, TB Joshua repeated his calls that Africa prays for its leaders as the death of one of its president was very close. Social networks were reignited again.

Temitope Balogun Joshua was born in 1963 in Nigeria and is the leader and founder of the organization, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), which runs its own TV station, Emmanuel TV. As with many successful church ministers, TB Joshua as been a target of controversies. Some pastors have even accused him of using other powers other than God’s.

June 2009 will be remembered as the year when Michael Jackson died.What many people don’t know is that his death had been prophesied by TB Jackson 5 months earlier. On a live broadcast on Emmanuel TV, the prophet said,

“I’m seeing a great star whom the world is shouting, “Hey, hey, hey!” In his own area, he’s famous – he’s known everywhere. He is great – too great… I see something will begin to happen to that star and that may likely end in him packing his load and going on the journey of no return…

Some have dismissed the prophesy as too general to be associated with Michael Jackson, but later events proved that TB Joshua actually had Michael Jackson in mind. On live TV, former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Tee Mac, told a congragation,

“The man of God (TB Joshua) called me to his office and said to me, ‘Please, tell your friend Marlon to bring Michael here to Nigeria. Michael needs healing; he needs deliverance.’ I told the man of God that Michael Jackson just went for a medical check up because he is going to have about 50 concerts soon. But the man of God said to me, ‘Send Michael here – he needs healing.’ ”

When the tragic news broke, “what immediately came to my mind was that the man of God told me something’s going to happen,”

That statement immediately solidified TB Joshua’s prophesying credentials. That was however not the only TB Joshua’s prophesy that has come to pass. He is said to have predicted several football match outcomes, including the final of AFCON, where Zambia’s Chipolopolo carried the day.

The most surprising part of TB Joshua is that his life had been prophesied by another great man of God, the late prophet Adewole. In 1995, Adewole was confronted by a group of three journalist who wanted his comments on this new young prophet. In his own words, Prophet Adewole said,

“I was attending to people in my office one day when three journalists entered; the three of them came from three different media houses. They asked, “Prophet Sir, we see and know you to be one of foremost Prophets of God in Africa today. Millions of people are looking forward to your comments because you are the only prophet who has never commented on the subject?” At this point, before they mentioned what they really wanted and the man in question, our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me from the Altar in my office on a golden, very beautiful and mighty chair. He commanded me not to join fake, jealous and envious prophets to say blasphemy against a fellow messenger of God.

‘The Man in the Synagogue is mine. He is your spiritual colleague. He is not fake. His power is not mixed. I do as I please. You are all working for my glory on earth. Do never disown or desert him. Truly he is young in age, but my spirit in him is pure and great. His grace is special. Many will fall through him, while others will rise through him also. Advise him always like a son, friend and colleague and do not judge him at all because God is the only judge. I reveal this to you because you fear, adore and do my wish always. I love you’ – and He disappeared.

I then turned and faced the three men again. And I started telling them all God told me about the man, Temitope Joshua, in the Synagogue, Egbe, Lagos. They were marvelled and become embarrassed. Then one of them said, “Daddy, we believe you, but we want you to see him conjure with his hand. He is using mixed powers. Two other top prophets and the head of witches have promised to test and punish him.” I told them that all the witches and prophets on earth cannot even face an anointed man of God. I even warned them not to join the unbelievers that are fighting God through his prophets. After that they left”.

He later went on to tell his people,

“a young man from Nigeria would be highly anointed, such that all the nations of the world would embrace the mighty God through him.” He said a time would come that the Synagogue Church of All Nations will become a Jerusalem in Nigeria, such that the number of foreigners would outnumber the Nigerians attending the church.

HISTORY MADE AS WISE MAN HARRY MINISTERS IN THE USA!!

T.B. Joshua made history today by sending one of the wise men, who trained under him, to Pasco, Washington State, USA. Thousands gathered and Wise Man Harry, who is from Macedonia in Greece, came out to minister. News got round only two weeks before the event but literally, thousands travelled and are still travelling from all over the United States, desperate not to miss their encounter with Jesus Christ, the Healer, Deliverer and Redeemer.

What shocked everyone was that when Wise Man Harry started ministering, the same things that happened in The SCOAN headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, began to happen. People threw away their crutches; many evil spirits manifested; people were released from demonic bondage; limitations and evil spirits in the lives of people were exposed and forced out. Some also received prophecies revealing the root causes of their problems and giving them insight into their past, present and future. Immediately after the prayer, people testified to the mighty power of God in their lives and they began to walk in the light of their testimonies.

THE COMPANY YOU KEEP
Wise Man Harry gave a challenging message, titled, The Company You Keep. He started off by talking about the situation in the world today. He said, “When you look around the world today,   no one wants to be a failure in life; everyone wants to succeed. Yet, many find themselves in the realm of failure. When we talk of success, we need to understand that success is a collection of relationships. No one can go it all alone. We need good people, informed people and inspired people to make it in our respective callings.” He then reminded us that there are four classes of people in our lives today. Those who: add, multiply, subtract and divide. Quoting Proverbs 13:20, “He who walks with the wise grows wise but a companion of fools suffers harm” he stated that we are what we are by virtue of the company we keep. He warned that we should be careful in our relationships and not too quick to trust others just because they look and sound good on the outside. Many people want to be your friend only when it is convenient for them. Others will sit at your table as long as things are going well but would not stand by you when your situation takes a turn for the worse. Therefore, when you make friends, don’t be too quick to trust them until they have proved themselves.

The wise man led the congregation in a prayer, saying, “Lord Jesus, guide me and grant me wisdom to know who I should turn to as a partner/ friend/ companion. Lord Jesus, I know I cannot do it without others. I cannot do it alone. I need good, inspired, informed people. Thank you for answering my prayer, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

He concluded his message by stating that Jesus is the most reliable companion. “Are you still looking for a companion? If you need a companion, Jesus Christ is the most reliable One. Whom can we trust? Trust in yourself, you are doomed to disappointment. Trust in your friends, they will die and leave you. Trust in Jesus Christ and you will never be confounded in time or eternity.”

 

T.B. Joshua came out to speak to the congregation and the viewers worldwide. “This is a prophetic word for you. I have been able to overcome my past by focusing on my gift and its possibilities. You have created me for a purpose; Help me, Lord to find those who need me the most, in Jesus Christ’s name. You are saved to save others, healed to heal others; you are blessed to bless others.”

He then introduced the time for testimonies, saying, “There’s no way that we can begin to ask God for bread without thanking God for the bread He has given us yesterday”.

DELIVERED FROM DRUG ADDICTION

Victoria Alexander Zandy from Kaduna testified to her deliverance from a drug addiction for 18 long, horrible years. She said that from the age of 16, she had been taking drugs – cocaine, heroin, marijuana – and that this had enslaved her. She described the drugs as her boyfriend, husband, job and life. She said that anytime she received any money at all, the first thing she would do is get more substances to satisfy her craving. This addiction to drugs had made her lean, sick and unable to function as any normal person would. She had found herself in an endless cycle of life that appeared to have no end. She was on a downhill slope and was gaining speed on her downward journey before miraculously Jesus Christ rescued her and gave her a firm place to stand through the medium of the Anointing Water. She described how she had come to her last bus stop and came to The SCOAN in a desperate last attempt for deliverance before ending her life. When she had come to The SCOAN, TB Joshua had given her the Anointing Water. Her sister ministered the Anointing Water on her and thereafter, she knew she was a completely different person. The urge to take drugs was no longer there. She was able to reason well and she saw herself clearly for the first time in many years. Unable to contain her joy, she rushed back to The SCOAN to testify to God’s mercy, goodness and grace in her life. She concluded by thanking God for giving her another chance in life. She advised all those listening to be careful of drugs as they are a trap of satan.

 

QUEEN OF ALL QUEENS CONQUERED

Rita Ignatius, resident in Gabon testified of the mighty deliverance she had received through the prayer of Wise Man Daniel in Jesus’ name.  She explained that she had been possessed with an evil spirit known as ‘queen of all queens’ for many years. This spirit had afflicted her life with a severe spirit of anger which made life very difficult for her and her husband. Each time he wanted to go to church, the evil spirit in her would manifest and she would try and prevent him from going. They went to many places in search of deliverance even where even in one church, the evil spirit in her manifested so violently that she started to beat the pastor. Testifying, Mrs Rita Ignatius explained that that morning, she had come to The SCOAN Church Service just to worship but little did she know what would happen when Wise Man Daniel prayed for her. At just one touch from the wise man, the darkness in her was exposed and a mighty deliverance took place. Thanking God for her freedom, she said that she was now calm and at peace.

 

CEASED MENSTRUATION RETURNS IMMEDIATELY AFTER DELIVERANCE

Mujidat Bankole, a Nigerian living in Paris, France testified to her deliverance after prayer from Wise Man John Chi during the service the week before. The spiritual husband that had entered her life since she was young had tormented her life and also caused her menstruation to cease. At just one touch from Wise Man John Chi, the evil spirit was exposed and manifested violently. After her deliverance, not only was she delivered from the spiritual husband but the following day, her menstruation miraculously reappeared!

NO MORE NIGHTMARES

Mrs Chigoozirim Offorkee from Anamabra, Nigeria told how she was delivered from a marine spirit that had possessed her since birth. Showing the occultic marks that had been placed on her palms, she explained that a spiritualist had instructed her to carry out sacrifices in the River Niger each year. The demonic bond was so strong over her life that if ever she failed to do the sacrifice, she would encounter terrible problems and opposition. She came to The SCOAN and Wise Man Harry prayed for her in Jesus’ name. The evil spirit in her started to manifest and was cast out in the power of the Holy Spirit. A week after her deliverance, Mrs Chigoozirim Offorkee, now full of joy, told how she no longer experienced nightmares or evil attacks.

STRANGE ADDICTIONS BROKEN THROUGH POWER OF GOD IN ANOINTING WATER

What followed was the deliverance of five women who had travelled from their respective countries, all eager to break the hold that strange addictions had over them.

First to speak was Miss Barulaganye Ditsele, a mining accounts clerk from Botswana who had been addicted to eating ant hill soil for 11 years. The addiction had now spread to her three sisters and dominated her life. When she woke up in the morning, the first things she craved was the ant hill soil which she would eat more than normal food. Unable to go anywhere without the soil, she took it out of her bag and began to eat it, exclaiming that it tasted like chocolate!  

Next to speak was Mrs Emely Mpofu from Zimbabwe who suffered from a similar addiction to eating anthill soil, this time for 17 years. Her sister also had this addiction and when she died, Emely started eating double the amount of the anthill soil. Explaining that she would eat the soil after each meal, Mrs Emely took the soil and began to eat it in the presence of the congregation of The SCOAN.

The following to address her issue was Miss Consolata Thomas, a teacher from Tanzania who told of her 14 year addiction to eating uncooked rice. This habit had started in boarding school when she used to take the uncooked rice from the store to the kitchen. As a hungry little girl, she explained how she had heard a voice telling her to eat the uncooked rice. The moment she did, she became hooked and it became a part of her life. To have the uncooked rice with her was so essential that even if she ran out of it at school, she would give the students an assignment and quickly get some more to eat.

Next was the case of Mrs Tebogo Motlamme from Botswana who had come to The SCOAN for deliverance from a 23 year addiction to eating anthill soil. This addiction which had affected her blood pressure and menstrual cycle dominated her life as she enjoyed the soil more than ordinary food and could not go anywhere without it.

Finally, Miss Bonsu Charlotte Serwaa from Ghana explained how she had been addicted to eating ice cubes for 11 years. Eating them in the presence of the man of God and the congregation, she asserted that they didn’t taste cold but rather very satisfying.

 

After listening to those with strange eating addictions, the man of God promptly asked someone with the Anointing Water to come forward. He then instructed the man that came forward to minister the Anointing Water to them all in Jesus’ name, saying that, “Something is there – a force; God is behind that force for its accomplishment.”

At just one spray of the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name, the demonic influence in these ladies’ lives was broken and they were set free. After their deliverance, the prophet said, “Let us see whether the old man is gone. If the old man is gone, that thing they were eating, they will no longer eat it.”

Sure enough, when offered the anthill soil, uncooked rice and ice cubes, one by one, they spat it out saying that they no longer enjoyed it and did not regard it as food anymore. 

With histories rewritten and cycles of limitation broken, the congregation left the auditorium and viewers turned off their televisions after another spectacular service day at The SCOAN.

The Day They Had Been Waiting For!

As usual, the Sunday service of 15 August, 2010 at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations was crammed with lessons for both the young and the old. I am still rejoicing over the fact that I was part of it all – I did not miss a second of it.

When Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophetic message to a woman two weeks before on how she got involved in internet friendship, little did the congregation and viewers all over the world know that this singular prophecy would spark off series of events that would lead to the freedom of many, who, for years, had been under the torment of satan and his agents. After the deliverance of the woman in question, the man of God asked all those with similar experience to come out. No sooner the call was made than those concerned came trooping out. It was indeed the day these people had been praying for.

If you have been following the events at The SCOAN for a week regarding the internet issue, you will agree that it is indeed indescribable the kind of anguish these people must have gone through all these years without any hope of an escape. Their lives had been in turmoil until that call by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. The Sunday before, there was not much time for many of them to speak. However, the Sunday of 15th August seemed to be their day as the man of God gave quite a number of them the ample opportunity to speak. Their confession was nothing but bizarre.

Narrating his experience, Mr. Urhie, a 37 years old accountant told the congregation and viewers all over the world how he fell into a death trap when he went looking for a friend on the internet. He took special interest in this man he met on the net because he told him he was doing his masters programme in information technology in the US. And since he, on his own part, wanted to secure a foreign based post graduate scholarship programme abroad, he thought this man would be of help. The man pretended to be very nice by encouraging him and giving him guidelines on how to secure the scholarship programme. Mr Urhie then went a step further in his friendship with this man by demanding his picture as he would like to know him better. In response, the man asked him if he was ready to see his picture. Why would anyone ask such a question if a friend requested his or her picture? Well, at that point, it did not occur to Mr Urhie that there was something weird about his internet friend, as he still insisted that he send him his picture. Initially, the man did not send the picture, but after persistent pressure from Mr Urhie, he did send it eventually. When Mr Urhie opened his e-mail box that fateful day, he saw the long awaited email from his internet friend with an attached file named ‘My photo’. Excitedly, he clicked on the photo attachment and behold, what he saw was the picture of a demon with two horns staring at him in the face. He was completely taken aback but then, it was already too late for him. The evil had been done! He had been trapped! He contacted the man and asked him why he had sent him such a picture and the response he got from him was shocking. The man wrote: “Ha Ha, that is me; you have met me today”.

A while later, but still in a state of shock, he tried to contact the man again but to his surprise, he could no longer reach him. The man had completely disconnected himself from him. None of the contact information which he had been using in communicating with him went through. That was the beginning of a long torture for Mr Urhie as he started seeing live snakes in his house. The next two days after he had sighted the demonic picture, he killed seven snakes in his house – all had the same colour and size. As if that was not enough, his health began to deteriorate. He felt weakness and heat in his entire body. So terrible was his case that he had to depend on drugs in order to stay alive. Indeed, you do not need a second look at Mr Urhie before coming to the conclusion that he was a living dead. Urhie’s story completed, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for him in the power of the Holy Spirit and you could see the instant change in his health. Strength came upon him and he could walk freely, something he was unable to do for a long time as he always felt as if he wanted to collapse if he moved just a few distances.

It was a tale of woe for Mr Kayode Abiodun when he met a lady on the internet and they became friends. The relationship went beyond the internet as they soon met each other physically to cement the relationship. Then something strange happened to him. Recounting his experience, Mr Kayode said that he and his wife were both in their sitting room one fateful day. They both pulled off their wedding rings from their fingers, put them on the table and went to their room. Fifteen minutes later, they came back to the sitting room where they had left the rings but could not find the rings. Where could the rings have vanished to? It was certain that it was not a case of theft because no other person was in the house with them. So, where could the rings be? This was the question they kept asking themselves until that night when the whereabouts of the rings became known to Mr Kayode. According to him, in his dream that night, the lady he had met through the internet appeared to him, holding in her hands the rings he and his wife had spent hours looking for in her hands. All she said to him in the dream was that the rings she was holding were the same ring they had been looking for. When Mr Kayode finally woke up from sleep, his wife informed him about the nightmare she also had where a lady came warning her in her dream to vacate the bed she shared with her husband as she was now married to her husband. After Mr Kayode’s confession, he too received deliverance in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Amongst the many others that were delivered was Anieka who said she was looking for a serious guy to enter a relationship with. So, sighting an advert termed ‘Love Zone’ in a newspaper, she called the number that was displayed. That was how she got involved with a man and they started a relationship without meeting each other physically. Whenever they were on the phone, the man would ask her to describe to him her physique. If she was unable to provide him all the required information, it would seem as if she wanted to go mad.

Mrs Blessing Osi's leg is on the verge of amputation, as her case has defied all medical solutions

With the internet issue over that Sunday, Blessing Osi came forward to share her testimony of a healed leg ulcer. From the clips being shown on the screen of the condition of her leg before her healing, the leg was as good as gone. The whole thigh down to the foot was completely rotten to the extent that maggots had made it a place of abode. Ordinarily, with the state her leg was in then, one could hardly believe that she would ever walk again. But then, she found her way to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations where she was prayed for by Prophet TB Joshua and the Lord set her free. Looking at the completely healed leg, one finds it difficult to know, without being told, that it was the same leg which sometimes ago was rotten and maggot infested.

Mrs Osi's leg is completely healed! The age of miracles has not yet past - the Miracle Worker is still alive and His Name is Jesus Christ!

Many miracles occurred during the service amongst which was that of Mr Robert Sammy from Ghana. He had been confined to the use of a wheelchair due to inability to walk. As the man of God was praying for those in the church, Mr Sammy was seated among the people in the overflow crowd. At a point, the man of God asked the congregation to direct their prayer towards the man and behold, he rose from his wheelchair and began to walk. This indeed proves that wherever you are in the church, Jesus can touch you.

Wise Man Racine preaches a powerful and practical message titled: 'Meet God'

The service did not go without a message to take home. The sermon for the day was given by Wise Man Racine and was titled Meet God. In his message, he spoke on the need to look to God.

He said that God has called us to His kind of lifestyle – a life of positive thinking, positive talking and positive acting. The Bible is given to us in the first place simply to invite us to make us at home in the world of God so that we can become familiar with the way God speaks and the way we answer him with our lives. He enjoined all to pay attention to God’s Word because no state of being is as rewarding as living in tune with God.
